"I work for a small electrical contractor in Ohio who is notorious for their lack of tools. To be fair, they have tools, but none of them work. So when we ordered out a small tugger for a pull in a confined closet, I was surprised when they sent out a Pull-It 3000X. I had only seen pictures of one in Electrical Contractor.
I had drawn the short straw for this difficult pull ( a single bare 4/0 through 200ft of 1 in. pvc), that many of our experienced hands thought was going to be a real "Bear". Too make a long story short, It went as smooth as silk. It was amazing. The setup was extremely simple as we didn't have to drill any anchor holes. The motor barely "broke a sweat". Most of the men passed by and were agape at how easy this pull was.

Just a note to let you know how much I appreciate the maxis 3000.
I bought the tool directly from maxis, before they had a distribution network, I've had the puller for 5-7 years. I don't use it every day, but when we do, the setup and operation are 2 men. One on each end of the pull.
A couple years ago that "green" company came out with a mini tugger.
A few of my friends bought one, nobody was thrilled, more disappointed than anything.,
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, maxis comes out with the tripod. This made the tool even easier to use. I've hooked the puller to my trailer hitch on my truck, but the tripod eliminates the need for this. Again, one man setup.
